Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image, and a stable Google account identifier.
• Search activity. When you run a Quick Check or Full Scan, we store the query text, the countries selected, and the timestamp. Queries may be logged in aggregate form for product analytics.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, user-agent, and request metadata, for security and reliability purposes.
• Payment data. If you make a purchase, payment details are collected and processed by Paddle. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive a transaction identifier, the amount, and your billing country for accounting purposes.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Process purchases, deliver the purchased product, and issue receipts.
• Monitor usage trends, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate with you about your account, purchases, or service changes.
• Comply with legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract. To deliver the Service you requested and to fulfil purchases.
• Legitimate interests. To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage.
• Legal obligation. Where we must retain data to comply with tax, accounting, or other laws.
• Consent. Where we specifically ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under contracts that require them to protect your data:

• Google LLC— authentication via Google OAuth.
• Upstash, Inc.— serverless Redis database for account records and search activity.
• Vercel Inc.— website hosting, server logs, and product analytics.
• Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing and Merchant of Record for global tax compliance.
• Apple Inc.— we query the public iTunes Search API on your behalf; your search query is sent to Apple as part of this request.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Search activity is retained to help us improve and secure the Service; we may anonymise or aggregate older records. Purchase records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights” below). Some records may be retained in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the session. We do not use advertising cookies. Our analytics provider may set privacy-respecting cookies to measure page performance and usage in aggregate.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS in transit, access controls, and encrypted storage at our data providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (“KVKK”) kapsamında, Türkiye’de bulunan kullanıcılarımıza yönelik olarak kişisel verilerinizin işlenmesine ilişkin aşağıdaki bilgilendirmeyi sunarız.

İşlenen Kişisel Veriler. Google hesabınızla giriş yaptığınızda ad, e-posta adresi, profil görseli ve Google kullanıcı kimliği; hizmetimizi kullandığınızda arama sorgularınız ve seçtiğiniz ülkeler; teknik veriler (IP adresi, tarayıcı bilgileri, oturum kayıtları); satın alma yaptığınızda işlem kimliği, tutar ve fatura ülkesi işlenir. Kart bilgileriniz tarafımızca görüntülenmez veya saklanmaz.

İşleme Amaçları. Hizmetin sunulması ve geliştirilmesi, hesap güvenliğinin sağlanması, satın alma işlemlerinin tamamlanması ve faturalandırma, kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi, yasal yükümlülüklerin (vergi ve muhasebe dahil) yerine getirilmesi.

Hukuki Sebepler (KVKK m. 5). Sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası için gerekli olması; hukuki yükümlülüğün yerine getirilmesi; temel hak ve özgürlüklerinize zarar vermemek kaydıyla meşru menfaatlerimiz; gerektiğinde açık rızanız.

Aktarım.Kişisel verileriniz, yukarıda 4. bölümde belirtilen hizmet sağlayıcıları (Google, Upstash, Vercel, Paddle, Apple) aracılığıyla yurt dışında (ABD ve AB ülkeleri dahil) işlenebilir. Bu aktarımlar, KVKK’nın ilgili hükümleri ve standart sözleşme hükümleri çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilir.

Haklarınız (KVKK m. 11).Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, işlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme, işleme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme, yurt içi ve yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme, eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme, KVKK’da öngörülen şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme, otomatik sistemlerle yapılan analizler sonucu aleyhinize bir sonuç doğması halinde buna itiraz etme ve kanuna aykırı işleme nedeniyle zarara uğramanız halinde tazminat talep etme haklarına sahipsiniz.

Başvuru. Haklarınıza ilişkin taleplerinizi checkappnames@seker.dev adresine iletebilirsiniz. Talepleriniz, KVKK m. 13 uyarınca en geç 30 gün içinde ücretsiz olarak sonuçlandırılır. İşlemin ayrıca bir maliyet gerektirmesi halinde Kurul’un belirlediği tarifedeki ücret alınabilir.
